How to Use the Manual

The navigation sidebar to the left lists all the help topics by section. Click on a link to view the topic.

Use the search box to search the manual. Many help topics are preceded with a short preamble before the main content that introduces and summarises the topic.

What the Manual Covers

The user manual covers the functionality of the ICAN book keeping system and the topics you actual see in the sidebar will vary depending on your user type. E.g. If you are a practice, you will see additional topics relating to management of your clients and subscribers, as well as additional help on practice specific reports that are available to you. Whereas if you are a client/standard user these topics will not appear and you will just see items relevant to your everyday accounting activities.


The help manual provides screenshots where applicable, though the exact styling may vary slightly depending on the functionality enabled on your account and your user level.
