Moving Clouds Improves Service as Accounting Software Business Expands

DSCN9087_optimisedAn accounting software firm has moved its cloud services provision from London to Shropshire as part of expansion plans.

ICANetwork is a bookkeeping and accounting system developed by Mark Brawn of Wolverhampton-based White Whale Software and Nigel Hinton of Shrewsbury chartered accountants Andrews Orme & Hinton.

They have just signed a contract with leading internet service provider Unitron Systems of Stafford Park in Telford.

“Our service levels have been high so far but as we expand our business we want to ensure that these are maintained and enhanced. As well as being a leading server, Unitron is at the forefront of rural broadband provision and this will make the ICAN system available to many more remote businesses,” said ICANetwork’s director of operations Nigel Hinton.

“We believe that the ICAN system provides a value for money service to businesses who do not want to make a huge financial commitment to traditional accounting software.

“Using the latest cloud technology via secure online links, businesses and their professional advisers can access all their accounting records from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

“From the feedback we have had so far from Shropshire and West Midlands companies the system makes day to day record keeping simple and straight forward and if users need any help or support it is just a mouse click or phone call away.”

Sandra Hewitt, a self-employed Telford businesswoman and business mentor with an international company, said that ICAN helped her to keep track of all her accounts.

“It is easy to use and easy to teach, helps me keep everything in order so it saves my accountant time at the end of the year which reduces my fees too,” she commented.
